Ashok leyland OYSTER bus

Ashok leyland is one of India's top and world's 3rd lagest bus manufacturers. With BS6 coming into action Leyland has revamped its entire portfolio of buses and came out with new and exciting products under the OYSTER series. This series competes with Tata starbus ultra series.

OYSTER bus comes with BS6 compaint iGen6 H-series engine. 

The bus is available for two segments - staff ( 32 - 42 seat option) and school (36 - 64 seat option).

Safety -

From safety point of view the bus comes with ABS, Roll over protection, speed limiting device, fire detection system, GPS and panic switch for active passanger safety.

Engine and transmission -

It comes with 4 cylinder H-series turbocharged iGen6 engine coupled with a 6 speed overdrive gearbox which delivers optimum power and superior milege. It also has lower maintenance cost and low NVH levels.

Seating and Comfort -

Offers multiple sitting option - hi back reclining and push back. Multiple configurations like 2 × 2, 3×2 or 3×3.

It offers parabolic suspension for extra comfort. Hat rack and underseat storage.

Improved driving experience -

It has economically designed driver area with tilt and Telescopic steering. Cable shift gear lever for effortless gear shift. Stylish 4 spoke steering wheel for car like driving feel. 4 way adjustible driver seat.
